Nguyen and Thy Phan open a Brightway Insurance Agency in their hometown of Richardson, Texas

RICHARDSON, Texas (March 15, 2018) — More homeowners, renters and drivers in and around Richardson, Texas (located on the north side of Dallas), now can realize there is a better way to shop for insurance. Husband and wife team and now Brightway Agency Owners, Nguyen and Thy Phan, recently opened Brightway, The Phan Agency in Richardson. Brightway Insurance is one of the largest property/casualty agencies in the U.S.

Thy Phan comes to Brightway with more than three years’ experience at Farmers Insurance and five years of management experience. She earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and speaks fluent Vietnamese. Nguyen Phan comes to Brightway with Information Technology and management experience. He graduated from UTD with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Systems.

The Phans met in college and have been married four years now and have two dogs. Proud UTD alumni, they support Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education. During her free time, Thy enjoys volunteering, reading, cooking, traveling and experiencing different cultures and cuisines, while Nguyen is a car and sports enthusiast. As Brightway Agency Owners, the Phans are excited to bring choice and expert counsel to the Dallas Fort Worth community, UTD alumni, Asian communities, friends and neighbors.
