JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Congratulations to Employee of the Month for July 2020, Pharaoh Hurt!

Hurt is a Web Developer who has worked at Brightway seven years.

He was a key player in the successful transition of Brightway’s websites from an outside vendor to Brigthway’s own in-house team in early 2020.

“Pharaoh expressed immediate interest in tackling the website at the start of this project, and he has since taken the reins and done a phenomenal job with it. It’s been a tremendous help to our Communications and Marketing team,” said Brightway CIO, Bob Hitchcock.

Hitchcock also praised Hurt for his quick work to bring Brightway’s websites into compliance with ADA guidelines this year.

“His work ethic and attitude are nothing short of remarkable, and we’re proud of him and grateful to have him on our team,” Hitchcock added.

Hurt started at Brightway in August 2013 as a Quality Assurance Specialist. After four years in this role, he was promoted to Data Analyst. In January 2019, Brightway recognized Hurt as its 2018 Employee of the Year. A year later, he earned another promotion to his current role.

Brightway launched the Employee of the Month program in earlier this year to give frequent recognition to employees who do fantastic work. The program recognizes two employees every month.

Honorees for the distinction receive a Visa gift card and an electronic “thank you” message from Brightway’s Executive Leadership.
