CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Patients of the Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte received a pleasant surprise when a superhero made a special appearance today. Mark Hess from Brightway, The Osteen and Aldridge Agency made rounds in the hospital in full hero garb, distributing gifts and playing games with the patients there as the superhero Green Arrow. The Agency sponsored Hess’ visit to the renowned children’s hospital in an effort to bring smiles to the patients and pay kindness forward.
“It was such a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to spread some joy to the little heroes of Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital,” said Hess. “I’m thankful to Atrium Health for allowing us to be a part of its healing process.”
