AUSTIN, TEXAS — While the country’s response to the Coronavirus has caused many business operations to pause, Brightway Insurance remains committed to customers and to people who want to build their own business with the holistic support Brightway offers. Residents in and around Austin now can experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, vehicles and much more as insurance veteran and now Brightway Agency Owner, Shannah Gunn, will open Brightway, The Gunn Agency there Monday, May 11. While she is currently working from home because of the pandemic, she will open an office once officials lift stay-at-home orders and things get back to normal.
“I want to offer the best possible value to all of my clients,” said Gunn. “The Brightway team, the technology, the abundance of insurance brands to shop from and the customer-centric culture all contributed to my desire to open Brightway, The Gunn Agency.”
Gunn is a Texas native who moved to Austin 24 years ago to attend the University of Texas and made it her home. She comes to Brightway with 20 years of sales experience under her belt. Most recently, she was an Agent at a local Goosehead Insurance Agency for nearly a year. She and fiancé, David Hebert, plan to marry later this year. She has done extensive volunteer work with the elderly, providing in-home senior care and is also passionate about helping her sister, Amber Gunn, with The Kindle Project, a non-profit dedicated to paying it forward to custodial single parents. Shannah Gunn loves camping, hiking, paddle boarding, swimming and playing with her dog, Pearl. As a Brightway Agency Owner, she looks forward to becoming a trusted resource in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock and wants to build long-lasting relationships with her customers.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CDT).
