Meet Your Chothani Agency Brightway Insurance Team

Hello! I’m Mitul Chothani, proud owner of Brightway Insurance in Lehigh Acres, Florida. My journey to the U.S. began in 2007 on a student visa to pursue my master’s degree at Stevens Institute of Technology. After completing my education, I built a successful career in IT, spending 10 years at IBM and three years with the Department of Homeland Security.

In 2013, I settled in Fort Myers and have since become an active part of the local community—not just as a resident, but also as a small business owner in Lee County. Community involvement is important to me. I’ve volunteered with the Lions Club, served on the Executive Committee of the Hindu Temple of Southwest Florida, and currently serve on the EC for the Gujarati Samaj of Southwest Florida. I’m also engaged with the Lee County Economic Development Board to support local growth.

 

I’m a proud husband and father of two—a daughter and a son—and I’m committed to using my experience, community connection, and customer-first mindset to help families and businesses protect what matters most.
