He specializes in property, casualty, risk management, commercial insurance, life insurance, and securities. As the proud owner of Brightway Insurance – The Hebert Agency, one of the franchise’s elite agencies, Charlie is known for creating an energetic, high-performance work culture rooted in expert counsel and a broad range of insurance solutions.
Deeply invested in his community, Charlie actively supports and sponsors several business and networking organizations across the greater Houston area. He is an engaged member of Southstone Church, the Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce, the Fulshear Chamber of Commerce, and serves as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Rotary Club of Katy.
Before starting his insurance agency, Charlie built a successful 15-year career in the oil and gas industry—starting offshore as a drilling fluids engineer and rising to executive sales leadership roles. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science – Pre-Vet from McNeese State University, where he walked on to the football team, earned a scholarship, became a starting kicker, and led the Cowboys in scoring. He was nominated All-American Scholar Athlete and helped lead his team to a Southland Conference Championship.
Charlie's drive and discipline are rooted in his athletic background, including his time as a professional football player. Today, he pours that same passion into 4th and 10, Inc., a nonprofit he founded to coach and mentor young athletes in life skills, performance, and personal development.
Charlie lives in Katy with his wife, Amy, and their two children. He enjoys working out, traveling, fishing, hunting, and investing in the personal and professional growth of those around him. With a unique blend of grit, faith, expertise, and heart, Charlie continues to leave a lasting impact in both the insurance industry and his local community.
