As an apprentice, you'll work as a producer while gaining insights directly from our experienced owners. Those who write 165 New Business policies during their 12-month apprenticeship are eligible to launch their own Brightway agency—without paying an initial franchise fee.

What is the Apprentice Program?

Your opportunity to learn the insurance business from top-performing agency owners while earning, growing, and setting the stage for ownership. This 12-month, paid apprenticeship prepares you for agency ownership.

You’re ready for ownership

Write 165+ new business policies during your apprenticeship and you’ll earn a Brightway franchise with $0 initial fee. Launch your own agency with support from your mentor and Brightway. Start your agency with your own producer to help you scale from Day 1.

Path 2

You’re looking to build experience

Continue working as a producer for your mentor while building your skills and book. Graduate to pursuing agency ownership when the time is right.
