Employee of the Quarter Spotlight: Jordan Brown
Brightway names Brown an Employee of the Quarter. He is a Personal Lines Licensed Senior Advisor who has been with the company for more than two years. Brown leads by example and truly impacts the workplace culture at Brightway.
How long have you worked at Brightway? I’ve worked with Brightway for more than two years.
What is your favorite part of the job? Working with my team on projects is my favorite part of my job. We tackle projects of all sizes. And, no matter how difficult the task is, it is always very rewarding when we check one off of our list.
What advice do you have for other employees? Not every day will be a great one, but don’t let that stop you from doing all you can to help your customers. Finding ways to be successful on the tough days truly shows what you are made of.
What is the weirdest superstition you’ve ever believed in? If you step on a crack, you will break your mother’s back. Of course, I don’t believe that today. As a young child, though, I’m pretty sure I may have believed that for a short time.
If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would love to have the opportunity to get to know Sir Terry Pratchett. He is an author who has a unique style of storytelling that appeals to me.
What are the songs that make you sing along whenever you hear them (Name Three)? “The Beast is Out There,” by The Blasting Company, “Over the Garden Wall,” by Twister and “No Strings,” by Kitten and the Hip.
