Employee of the Quarter Spotlight: Karen Watts
Brightway names Watts an Employee of the Quarter. She is a Commercial Lines Licensed Senior Advisor who has been with the company for more than two years. Watts plays a pivotal role in helping strengthen the workplace culture at Brightway.
How long have you worked at Brightway? I’ve worked at Brightway for more than two years.
What is your favorite part of the job? Brightway has a way of making me feel valued. I love that! It comes down to the great people on board and being able to appreciate just how amazing they truly are.
What advice do you have for other employees? Always be willing to learn. When new challenges come your way, just keep a positive attitude and take pride in all you do. Do that and the rest will take care of itself.
What is the weirdest superstition you’ve ever believed in? It’s bad luck to open an umbrella indoors.
If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would love to meet with my great-grandfather. He passed away before I was born and I never got the chance to meet him.
What are the songs that make you sing along whenever you hear them (Name Three)? “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” by Cyndi Lauper, “Footloose,” by Kenny Loggins and “Build Me Up Butter Cup,” by The Foundations.
