Metro Tampa construction and property management company co-owner Rosa Garcia is expanding her enterprise in Hillsborough County. Next Monday, Garcia will unveil her latest venture as she opens Brightway, The Garcia Family Agency insurance office.

The 40-year-old entrepreneur is a partner with Steven Paul in SR Pyramid (home construction) and SR Pyramid Management (property management). And next week, she is taking the next step in building a comprehensive business when she launches her new East Fowler Avenue Brightway Insurance location.

“After a decade of helping get people in a home, it just made sense to grow what we do,” Garcia said.

The Tampa mother of four first began selling health insurance several years ago. Now, in 2023, Garcia will offer property and casualty insurance through one of the nation’s highest-rated insurance franchisors.

A 2003 Continental Academy High School graduate, the New Jersey native made the move to the Sunshine State with her mother in 2001 in hopes of better opportunities. Today, Garcia and her four children, Yosmendy, D'lani, Yamilex, Yarilex and Yoslayna are on a similar path as they prepare to open the family-centric office in the Greater Carrollwood neighborhood of North Tampa.

“My mom worked hard every day in a factory, my father drove a truck to make a living. Making things happen takes a lot of hard work,” Garcia added. As well as a decade of working hard in the housing industry, Garcia also brings experience in social media advertising management.
