KINGWOOD, TEXAS — Residents in Houston, Kingwood and surrounding communities can now experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, vehicles and much more as veteran Insurance Agent and now Brightway Agency Owner, Santos Portillo, opens Brightway, The Portillo Agency Monday, March 1. The agency is located at 1404-A Stonehollow Drive, Suite #3 in Kingwood (in the Stonehollow Place business park).

Portillo came to Brightway from State Farm, where he worked for 10 years, six as an Office Manager and four as an Agency Owner. He also brings 18 years of warehouse and financial services management experience to the Agency. With his experience in sales and service, Portillo specializes in building relationships with his customers to ensure they get customized coverage tailored to their individual needs. He speaks fluent English and Spanish. A 2002 Salutatorian graduate of W.T. Hall High School, Portillo was raised in Houston and is happy to stay where he grew up to be an active member in the community by offering jobs and opportunities to protect people from the unexpected. He and wife of 18 years, Lupita, have three daughters and are active church members at Hope City Church in Houston. When they are not in the office, they enjoy spending time together as a family.
