Space Coast Association of REALTORS® names Brightway Insurance Agency Owner, Steve Trout, 2016 Business Partner of the Year

COCOA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 23, 2017) — The Space Coast Association of REALTORS® recently named Steve Trout 2016 Business Partner of the Year. Trout is Owner of Brightway, The Steve Trout Agency in Rockledge, Fla. Created to recognize outstanding business partners who donate time and resources to their profession, the community and the Association, the Association presented the award to Trout at its 2017 Instillation Banquet, held Jan. 13, at the Double Tree Hotel in Cocoa Beach.

Brightway is the nation’s seventh largest privately held Personal Lines independent insurance agency.

“Steve Trout has been a valuable part of our organization, and we are pleased to name him as the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® 2016 Business Partner of the Year,” said the Association’s 2016 President, Lynnette Hendricks, who presented the award to Trout.

Trout has worked very closely with the Association throughout the years and has served as the co-chair and now chair of the Association’s Business Partner Committee. He sponsored the Association’s Realtor Political Action Committee Auction as well as the Cinco de Mayo, Brevard Children in Need and Realtor appreciation events. As a former athlete of Merritt Island Little League and Merritt Island High School, Trout remains involved with athletics in his local community and helps by sponsoring events for these organizations.
