ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — Dr. Joe Craig, his son, Chris Craig, and their rock star team welcomed the community, customers, business partners, friends and family to a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the grand opening of Brightway, The Craig Agency, located at 5001 4th Street North, Suite B in St. Petersburg (at the intersection of 4th Street North and 50th Avenue North). The Agency held the grand opening event Thursday, Sept. 30, in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We are so grateful for our family, friends, business partners and the Chamber of Commerce for joining us today and for their continued support,” said Chris Craig, who manages the daily operations at the insurance Agency. “I grew up here and went to school nearby at Shorecrest Preparatory School, and Dad operated his dental practice here for more than 40 years, so to be able to own and operate a family business here together where we get to serve our community by helping our friends and neighbors is a dream come true.”
“We are committed to helping the local community not only with their insurance knowledge, but also by giving back. That’s why, we are pledging to donate $5 to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic for every quote request we receive during the month of October,” said Dr. Craig, who volunteers as a dentist at the Free Clinic. “We held a similar campaign last year and raised more than $1,000 for the clinic and decided to make it an annual event every October.”
The Craigs opened the insurance Agency in December 2019. They are members of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and attend First United Methodist Church in downtown St. Petersburg.

On Oct. 6, 2020, Brightway, The Craig Agency donated $1,025 to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to fund new equipment and supplies for the St. Petersburg Free Dental Clinic. The local insurance Agency has committed to donating $5 for every quote request received every October to the Free Clinic.
