JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, responsible for administrative duties for the department.
NECESSARY SKILLS
- Gather carrier communications sent to Underwriting and the Carrier Appointments team and upload the information to the shared folder on a weekly basis
- Responsible for the administering carrier promotions. This includes receiving ad-hoc incentive/promotions requests from our carrier partners and updating the requests to a shared document for agents to view
- Send notices to carriers whenever there are agent updates (addresses, phone numbers, agent/agency name changes, etc.)
- Update products by state in salesforce for new and existing carriers
- Set up credentials for new hires on a weekly basis for field and corporate office
- Disable credentials/appointments for terminated staff on a weekly basis for the field and corporate office
- Perform audits in sales force to ensure accuracy of users
- Regularly checks email and other systems through which work is requested
- Proactively makes outbound calls or sends emails with the purpose of clarifying information or gathering correct information
- Maintains process and procedure manual for the area
- Handles special projects and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy; exceptional attention to detail
- Strong customer service mindset; a desire and ability to deliver service that provides a high level of satisfaction
- Ability to handle the most complex of requests
- Strong communicator; must be able to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

- Superior ability to manage own time, activities and resources; models behavior for others
- Team player; must be able to contribute to the team and rely on others to achieve objectives
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, some college and/or pursuing professional development in insurance related areas preferred.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a professional workplace, preferably insurance industry
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Salesforce experience desired but not required
