Successful franchisees are the lifeblood of the Brightway system. The Manager, Agency Growth and Development leads four groups critical to the successful onboarding/training and ongoing growth of franchisees:

This role is responsible for leading all groups, taking Agent feedback and continuously improving the offering to optimize franchisee results throughout their Brightway career.

The successful candidate is process-oriented, has sales and training experience along with a proven track record of developing people, processes and technology to achieve successful, scalable outcomes.

Agent Onboarding brings new franchisees through a period of setting standards and expectations, gathering necessary paperwork and getting Agency Training pre-work completed. For non-licensed franchisees, they also guide them through the Licensing process.

Agency Training takes franchisees through four weeks of virtual classroom training during which sales techniques are taught, along with insurance principles. Systems and technologies are taught, along with how to build referral networks and quoting/binding.

Agency Development Consultants are former Producers or carrier trainers/TSMs who guide franchisees through expected production, managing business expenses and maximizing New Business sales both in the Onboarding process and throughout their agency ownership.

Agency Support is a small inbound phone unit made up of Brightway Subject Matter Experts who take all Agent calls and answer questions, consult on a wide variety of topics and connect Agents with Home Office staff to dig deeper into business results, helping everyone be as successful as possible.

 

The Manager, Agency Growth and Development is responsible for:

  1. Understanding how each Home Office department works, what they do, key strategies and initiatives and why we do the things we do
  2. Understanding the Brightway Sales Process, and why we train it, and advocate for it
  3. Overseeing Agency Onboarding processes, maximizing effectiveness by taking feedback and incorporating it
  4. Overseeing Agency Training to ensure effectiveness as measured by New Business production
  5. Providing holistic business consulting to Agency Owners to help them succeed
  6. Understanding and using current tools and helping to develop new tools
  7. Helping teams to identify Agency’s strengths and opportunities and connecting Agency Owners with tools to take advantage of opportunities
  8. Keeping leadership apprised of Agency Owners in danger of failure; troubleshooting these issues and executing “save” strategies, documenting the results
  9. Ideating and helping to build sales and training tools
  10. Working successfully within all franchisees and all levels of the organization
