Abilene Chamber appoints Brightway’s Benjamin Young Chair of Abilene Business Council

ABILENE, TEXAS – The leadership of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce has appointed Benjamin Young, Owner of Brightway, The Young Agency, to Chair of the Abilene Business Council. Young has been an active chamber member for six years and will serve in the role for one year.

“I am honored by the opportunity,” said Young. “The council works hard and focuses on engaging chamber members to help them stay connected, engaged and growing in the chamber. I’m thrilled to promote business in the Big Country in this role and look forward to serving the community for years to come.”

The council also works to create a community entrepreneurial atmosphere that fosters communication of ideas and business educational opportunities, and it recognizes outstanding businesses. They accomplish this through endeavors such as the Business Expo, an entrepreneur series, IBuyBigCountry and business development workshops and seminars.
