JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 23, 2017) — Jenny Petersen, Systems Administration Manager at Brightway Insurance, received the Chairman’s Award from the Network of Vertafore Users (NetVU) during an awards gala last night held in conjunction with NetVU’s annual conference this week in Nashville, Tenn. The NetVU chairman presented the award to Petersen for her service to NetVU during the past year. Awards in the past have been issued to members, Vertafore employees, insurance carriers and industry partners working in conjunction with the chairman on NetVU initiatives.
Brightway is a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through a network of franchised independent agencies throughout the country.
Vertafore, the leader in modern insurance technology with the largest customer base in the industry, has been offering insurance companies software and other solutions that drive efficiencies and increase profitability for more than 45 years.
“NetVU fosters an environment of users helping users, and I have enjoyed being able to help other agencies troubleshoot challenges we have overcome and appreciate the assistance we’ve received from other agencies in the network,” said Petersen, who has been with Brightway for eight years. “I’m humbled and honored to be recognized by the chairman, my peers and other network users for doing what I love.”
In addition to the Chairman’s Award, Petersen was named Most Valuable Player of the Large Agency Chapter of NetVU for the third year in a row. Petersen formed the Large Agency Chapter of NetVU in 2014 to provide a forum for large insurance agencies to share best practices on how they use Vertafore products to enhance their businesses. Today, there are more than 180 members in the chapter. Chapters create an opportunity to network with fellow Vertafore users on a local level. The Chapter MVP program recognizes members such as Petersen who go above and beyond to advance their Chapters, promote the industry and help make a difference in the organization.
“Jenny Petersen makes Brightway better for our Agency Owners and customers through her constant efforts to keep our systems on the forefront of technology,” said Brightway President Talman Howard. “We’re extremely proud of her accomplishments and are thrilled she received the Chairman’s Award and the MVP award for the third consecutive year.”
Brightway Agency Owners enjoy support from more than 220 insurance professionals, such as Petersen, in customer service, carrier relationships, marketing, accounting and technology, which frees up their time to focus on leveraging the broadest possible selection of insurance companies to meet each customer’s unique needs.
