What started as a journey to help others is now growing into a new business for an Oviedo, Florida woman. When Glorines Pardo-Garcia officially opens Brightway, The Pardo-Garcia Agency insurance office in Orlando Monday, it will be an accomplishment she’s been working towards since she was a young girl.

As a child, Pardo-Garcia imagined becoming a doctor one day. Although her dreams of giving medical treatment didn’t become a reality, a full career devoted to providing medical care coverage to those in her neighborhood has made this next phase in her life possible.

“I’ll always care for my community, for those in need. Opening my own insurance franchise now allows me to do more when it comes to protecting those I love,” Pardo-Garcia said. “The medical insurance business I’ve done over the years has allowed me to grow to the next level. But this isn’t just about my plans and doing what’s right. It’s about helping everyone grow and making a true difference,” Pardo-Garcia said.

Pardo-Garcia’s success stateside comes after decades of hard work in both Puerto Rico and Florida. After coming to Florida in 1988 and earning an Associate of Arts degree from Daytona State College in 1990, Pardo-Garcia would return to Puerto Rico where she would begin a family and a career.

The 53-year-old entrepreneur began her insurance career in Puerto Rico, where she specialized in Medicare, Health and Life Insurance. Her experience and success in her industry led to previous partnerships with a pair of Fortune 500 companies. She would then return to college graduating from InterAmerican University (Cupey, Puerto Rico) to earn a Bachelor of Business in Management and Human Resources in 2007.

With more than two decades of industry knowledge, Glorines has established herself and has built a reputation for building relationships with clients with different needs, social-economic backgrounds and demands.

“With so many people moving to Central Florida right now, I want to help them find a better life. I truly feel I can help them do that through my Brightway business,” Pardo-Garcia added. She also assists as a member of the Women’s Ministry Program at Restoration Christian Church where she attends and serves as a mentor and a leader.

Pardo-Garcia will be hosting a grand opening of her new Brightway, The Pardo-Garcia Agency on July 31. Located at 1802 N. Alafaya Trail in Orlando, Pardo-Garcia’s insurance agency will offer customized Home, Flood, Auto, Boat, Condo, Renters, Personal Articles, RV, Motorcycle, Umbrella, and Life insurance policies from numerous insurance companies. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT) and Saturday/Sunday by appointment. Visit them online at BrightwayPardoGarcia.com or call 407-442-1090.
