Jacksonville native, Troy Novotny, begins a new chapter as he opens a Brightway Insurance Agency in his hometown

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After a successful career in the financial industry and service in the U.S. Army, Troy Novotny is adding “Business Owner” to his list of accomplishments as he readies to open Brightway, The Novotny Agency in Jacksonville, Fla., Monday, April 23.

“Jacksonville is my home. I was raised here, so opening a local business where I can use my expertise to support my community and help friends and neighbors achieve financial security is a dream come true,” said Novotny. “With Brightway, I know I’ll have the backing of a great team whose Win-Win-Win mandate focuses on providing world class customer service and helping Agency Owners, like me, grow the business.”

Novotny comes to Brightway from a national bank where he spent 25 years, most recently as an Operations Senior Vice President, where he focused on mortgage banking and risk management. In addition to the operations and leadership experience he gained in the banking industry, Novotny served as a radar operator in the U.S. Army. A graduate of Middleburg High School, Novotny went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Over the years Novotny has participated with organizations such as the Jacksonville Mortgage Bankers Association and the Jacksonville Ronald McDonald House. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Novotny enjoys spending time with his family and is an active participant in his local dance community. He also enjoys spending time with his niece and nephew and one monster cat named Luke Peterson. As a Brightway Agency Owner, Novotny looks forward to bringing more choice and expert counsel to his community.
