Residents in Lake Charles and surrounding communities can now experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, vehicles and much more as Jimmy Thomas has opened Brightway, The Jimmy Thomas Agency in Lake Charles.

I’m grateful we made it through safely, but it certainly provided perspective and clarity on why it’s crucial to ensure you make wise decisions about your insurance coverage. Your family’s future depends on it.”
Due to damage sustained to his office location from Hurricane Laura, Thomas is working from home until his new office space is ready. The office location will be announced once operational.
Thomas added, “Hurricane Laura set us back a month, and Delta forced us to evacuate just days before opening, but I’m thrilled to finally be opening my insurance agency to serve my friends and community I love. Brightway is giving me the opportunity to own my own business while pursuing my passion of helping families by providing them with the assurances and security they want to leave for their families and protecting the things they treasure.”
A Louisiana native, Thomas is licensed to sell insurance in Louisiana and Texas. He comes to Brightway with more than 17 years of sales experience and understands the importance of providing phenomenal customer service. He graduated from McNeese State University in Lake Charles with a bachelor's degree in General Studies. Thomas and wife, Romona, of 10 years have two children. He is a Deacon at his church and volunteers as a youth sports coach and mentor. For fun, he loves spending time with his family, travelling and coaching and watching sports. One of the things he looks forward to most as a Brightway Agency Owner is helping families protect what is important to them with an aim to make a difference in his community and the world.
